Amazing Find

Just the other day, my Dad was working in the garden and he came across this little beauty. It is the leg bone of a racing pigeon with the ring reading ‘ GB 97 J 300’. Maybe it’s not that fascinating to the rest of you, but for me, it’s an absolute treasure and has earned itself pride of place on my desk.

    I am fascinated also! It would be interesting to see if you can track down the original owner of the pigeon!

    Thats a great idea, it'd have never occurred to me to do that :) Should I find out anything, I'll have to get back to you :D x
